Outlined below is the All Star Classroom Management Plan that I use in our fourth grade class.
Students earn tokens for positive behavior.
Examples of positive behavior may include:
- being prepared
- sharing
- high scores on practice tests
- showing role model behavior
- helpful attitudes and positive comments
- following directions the first time given
- excellent classroom participation
- always raising hands and waiting to be called on before speaking
Students will lose tokens for unacceptable or inappropriate behavior.
Examples of inappropriate behavior may include:
- inappropriate language
- inappropriate hall, dismissal or lunchroom behavior
- poor attitudes
- talking in the hall
- being disrespectful
- cheating
- missing homework
- taking or using property that does not belong to the student
- touching others
- not following directions the first time they are given
- not paying attention
Each Monday,students who have earned 20 points from the previous week may enjoy snack and a movie in the classroom. Students eat their lunch in the class, instead of in the lunchroom and watch cartoons and or G rated films that they select.
