Class Behavior Policy

Outlined below is the All Star Classroom Management Plan that I use in our fourth grade class.

Students earn tokens for positive behavior.

Examples of positive behavior may include:

  • being prepared
  • sharing
  • high scores on practice tests
  • showing role model behavior
  • helpful attitudes and positive comments
  • following directions the first time given
  • excellent classroom participation
  • always raising hands and waiting to be called on before speaking

Students will lose tokens for unacceptable or inappropriate behavior.
Examples of inappropriate behavior may include:

  • inappropriate language
  • inappropriate hall, dismissal or lunchroom behavior
  • poor attitudes
  • talking in the hall
  • being disrespectful
  • cheating
  • missing homework
  • taking or using property that does not belong to the student
  • touching others
  • not following directions the first time they are given
  • not paying attention

Each Monday, students who have earned 20 points from the previous week may enjoy snack and a movie in the classroom. Students eat their lunch in the class, instead of in the lunchroom and watch cartoons and or G rated films that they select.
